CVCA Study Mission to Shaanxi and Xi'an

Dear CVCA members,

From October 21st- to 22nd, 2010, China Venture Capital Association will be organizing a study mission to Shaanxi and Xi'an to promote correspondence and interaction with the local VC/PE communities. Deloitte will be supporting the mission as a co-organizer.

In recent years, the VC/PE industry in Shaanxi and Xi'an has seen great development and success. The growth of the VC/PE sector has strengthened investment businesses, industrial development, and technological progress.

The delegation will visit the provincial and municipal leaders of Shaanxi and Xi'an, as well as other government departments. They will visit the Department in charge of Investment and Financing, Development and Reform Commission, Department of Commerce, Financial Supervisory Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission etc. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet executives of various high-tech, growth-state and state-owned enterprises in Shaanxi and Xi'an. Optional program includes visiting well-known scenic spots in Shaanxi and Xi'an.

This mission is open for CVCA members to attend for free only. Due to space limitations, each member firm may only register two high-level executives. Participation in all scheduled events between October 21st and 22nd will be appreciated.

CVCA will provide reservations in a local five-star hotel. The cost of accommodation, flights, and scenic spots will be at the attendees' own charge.
