Up to now, no performance related research was available about China venture capital industry, but demand for such information as industry reference and bench-marking guidelines are on the rise. In addition, performance related data could serve as important reference when communicating with the government in promoting a more favorable regulatory environment. In this connection, China Venture Capital Association (CVCA) and Zero2IPO jointly initiated this research undertaking with a view to filling the information gap, and providing the existing and potential industry stakeholders with a preliminary profile of China venture capital investment performance. Furthermore, we believe that this research has established a platform for further investment performance related studies.

This event is an official release of this important research report. A panel discussing opportunities and challenges of venture capital investing in China will follow the release.
