Industry Sharing with Government Delegation from Alberta Canada

China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association held an Industry Sharing With Government Delegation from Alberta Canada on May 25th, 2011. We were honored to have well-known Chinese VCPE companies and Canadian government officials exchange their insights and share good practice among the markets of both countries. Ms Frances Huang, President of CVCA extended a warmest welcome to our distinguished guests and all of the participants. Then, Mr Gordon, chief representative of Baring Private Equity, analyzed China's industry investment preferences and investment strategy from his own perspective, which greatly impressed the audience. Meanwhile, Mr. Mel Wong and Mr Robert Lai, leading officials in Alberta, Canada, introduced investment environment in Alberta and shared their outlook of the investment opportunities in China.  Finally, the guests got a chance to communicate with each other, and the meeting ended successfully in an interactive atmosphere. Attendees are all executives, mainly from The Carlyle Group, Climate Change Capital, Offshore Incorporations Group, GOBI Partners and other large funds.
