Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation

In order to share the good practice of valuation and advocate the reasonable valuation methods, China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) held the PE/VC valuation training course on July 29. The contents are various, including introduction of enterprise valuation methods in VC/PE industry (cost method, income method and market multiples method), valuation methods for enterprises in different stages, legal terms concerning valuation in limited partnership agreement, similarities and differences in valuation between US Dollar funds and RMB funds and case study.

At the same time, CVCA also introduced the key principals from - IPEV "International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines" (Edition August 2010) Chinese Version, which earned the accreditation of many international VC/PE industry organizations.

In this training, Alex Zhu, Partner of E&Y Business trade consulting, elaborated the valuation methods in VC/PE industry from his own practice. Meanwhile, Yingru Li , Head of China of PineBridge Investments, shared cases with the audience from the perspective of industry trend. The training ended up with warmly interactive.
