The NSSF (National Social Security Fund) has recently invested in both CDH and Hony and this signifies that the raising and managing of RMB funds is becoming a considerable element of China's VC/PE industries. It should be noted, however, that it is a great challenge for any fund manger to successfully raise funds in the current investment environment, which is still considered immature, and lacks in institutional investors.

Therefore, at the April 27th Roundtable Luncheon, CVCA,  was honored to have Dr. ShangZhi WU, Chairman and Founding Partner of CDH and a CVCA governor, as the guest speaker. With rich experience in the VC/PE industry, Dr. Wu elaborated on the foreign and domestic PE financing environments and types of investors. He also shared his profound insights on raising and managing RMB funds. Dr. WU's lecture was insightful, engaging and well received by all the guests.
