Private Equity Salon·Shanghai

On June 3, China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) co-held a salon at the Jinmao Sheng Rong Yacht Club with Shanghai Private Equity Association (SHPEA). The venue, Star Bar, provided a broad perspective to appreciate the marvelous scenery of Huangpu River, which represents both the elegance and fashion of Shanghai.

Around 6:30 in the evening, nearly 40 members, coming from more than 30 corporations, arrived at the Star Bar. Meanwhile, wine and gourmet were also served on the table. In a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, executives of VC/PE industry communicated with each other and also exchanged their views on the hot topics. All the voice and laughter were swaying with the gorgeous light. Then Ms. Frances Huang, president of CVCA, and Mr. Yan Huang, deputy secretary general of SHPEA, delivered the welcoming remarks. Ms. Huang first thanked the passion our members showed, as well as the effort our co-organizer has made. She said that the Salon series is designed for friends of VC/PE industry to enjoy their leisure time and share resources on this social platform.

In conclusion, CVCA Salon Shanghai received an excellent reaction for improving members’ understanding towards our events and strengthening the relationship with other associations at the same time. Undoubtedly, the Salon will be held at feature cities in superb venues carefully selected for their gracious ambiance, and expect for your participation.
