Strategies and Trends of Public Companies Investing in VC/PE Funds was released in Shenzhen on April 18, 2014. This report is the result of a research conducted by CVCA and Shenzhen Stock Exchange Research Institution.

While the association between listed companies and VC/PE funds is getting increasingly close, their combination with complementary advantages will play an important role in the developments of industrial integration and new economy. Given this background and with support from Shenzhen Stock Exchange Research Institution, CVCA conducted surveys, in-depth interviews, data collection and analysis. Strategies and Trends of Public Companies Investing in VC/PE Funds contains the results of the survey, interview, and analysis, as well as several recommendations and suggestions. Vincent GUO, Director of CVCA Public Policy and Research, made a presentation on the research findings.

In the panel discussion session afterwards, General Managere of Investment Division of Han's Laser Yong TANG, Partner of PwC Yinhua CAO, Partner of Fortune VC Margaret SHAO, Vice-Chairman of China Funds Siguler Guff Yuebing LU, Counsel of Fangda Partners Flora QIAN, and Counsel of O'Melveny & Myers LLP Xuan ZHANG communicated and shared their thoughts on the trends in LP investing and Fundraising Strategies of RMB Funds. Deputy Lead Researcher of Shenzhen Stock Exchange Research Institute Xiaojin WANG moderated the panel.

Around 40 professionals participated the event and communicated their concerns in practice with the guest panelists.
